Relaxing Swedish Massage:                                                                          

 This style of massage uses long flowing strokes designed to increase circulation and blood flow. This fluid technique relieves muscle tension, reduces stress, and promotes circulation and joint flexibility.  Swedish massage is ideal for clients that have never received a massage before or would prefer a light to moderate touch.                                                                            

Deep Tissue:                                                                                                      

 Deep tissue techniques are generally designed for more focused massage work. Working a specific joint, muscle or muscle group, deeper layers of the soft tissue can be accessed. Each person experiences pressure differently. Starting superficially and easing into the depth of the muscle slowly often allows more movement. If the pressure is applied too deeply or too quickly, the muscle may tighten to protect that area.                                                                    

Trigger Point/Neuromuscular Therapy:                                                       

 This therapy is aimed at relieving highly concentrated points of tension (also known as trigger points) by balancing the central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. Neuromuscular therapy is one of the most effective types of massage for pain relief utilizing static pressure to release trigger points. I combine my TP/NMT with some *myofascial release techniques to insure good blood flow to the affected areas.                                                                *Myofascial Release is stretching of the fascia which is a thin tissue that covers all the the organs of the body as well as every muscle and every fiber within each muscle.                                                                 

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (full body OR face and neck):                

 Manual Lymph Drainage (also referred to as simply MLD) is a very gentle type of massage therapy used to move excess fluid from the body and improve the over all functioning of the lymphatic (immune) system. The lymph system is designed to get rid of the toxins of the body. Keeping this system in good working order will help inflammation, pre and post op surgery clients to heal faster, cancer patients with nodes removed, aging of the face, achene issues, sluggishness and fatigue, is excellent for helping to release sinus pressure, promotes healing of strains and sprains and Rheumatoid Arthritis, and improve skin tone. 

Reflexology:                                                                                                       

 This centuries old technique works specific pressure points on the feet to re-establish the flow of energy throughout the body and to stimulate the healthy function of the body's internal organs.  For an enhanced experience, Reflexology can be combined with any other massage service.                                                                                                  

Reiki:                                                                                                                    

 (Rei (“ray”) means Universal and Ki (“key”) means Life Force)
Reiki is an ancient Japanese hands on healing technique that was re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui that supports you in feeling more connected to life. Reiki healing is applied through either a very light touch or totally off the body, above and around its various energy centers while the client is fully clothed and laying down or seated. It facilitates the body’s ability to heal itself by removing blocks and balancing the body's energy system. This process provides deep relaxation, a sense of peace and well-being, and supports other therapeutic modalities.
